I do not recommend this product or seller. I used this battery for 1 month and it would not recharge to full capacity. The HP performance test recommended I replace the battery because it had dead cells. I contacted the seller by E-mail and have not received any reply.

With a battery it takes a while to know if it's good. How long does it last until it doesn't last very long?
This battery was an excellent bargain. Sadly, it outlasted the computer. We purchased it for our HP dv2100us. It was a fit, we had no problems, until someone broke the screen on our laptop - battery became a mute point... I'm not bitter, really.
Batteries in general don't last very long, so we were happy that this budget battery renewed the life of our laptop while it could.

The original and replacement batteries were both defective. The first was not even recognized by the computer and the second quit charging after 2 days. I returned both for a refund, which came readily from Accessory Genie.
