I got this about 2 days ago...was expecting what i got...battery life is about hour and a half for my compaq v2000...so the reviews of people who were getting way over two hours did not hold true for me...as such I am a little worried how the battery will hold up over the week...either way i am happy with the item and the price.

I was looking for a replacement battery for my laptop. My laptop was old enough it had turned into a desktop since the battery was only good for about 15 minutes. After hunting around for some time I found the correct part number and found the price on the manufacturers site a little high. So when I found it Amazon I decided to get it.



The battery arrived in less time than I thought it would, I used standard shipping. It looked brand new when I unpacked it. It charged fine and I usually get over 2 hours of usage out of the battery with web surfing and playing some games online. So I would recommend this seller.

If you have a laptop computer that is 3 years old and have been unhappy with the performance of the battery, replace the battery. My machine didn't run more than an hour on its original battery, and that had degraded to the point where it would only run about 15 minutes. With this battery it runs two hours in constant 'business' use, recharging in a similar period while being used. Highly recommended.

This is not a complicated item. It either works or it don't. I supposed you could add length of charge as a guide. Well, the battery worked and the length of charge was around 2 hours. So it does everything I expected it to. And in this day and age, that's awesome.
