Works great but the cord is half the length of the original cord.

I purchased this cord to replace the one on my daughter's laptop. It worked great - at first. The cord became lose quickly and we had to prop or hold the cord in place to get it to charge or even work. I emailed the company to ask for an exchange and they said to mail it back. I did and have heard nothing from them. I would NEVER USE THIS DEALER AGAIN.

i bought this power supply to replace the one that came with my laptop. while is does charge the computer it is incredibly loose so unless it is held at just the right angle it will not charge. i will be returning it for a different one

I was initially concerned about buying a "generic" adapter, so I purchased several replacement power cords from HP (for between $50 and $70, on sale). None of them worked as well as this much cheaper version. This is a great alternative to the over-priced, ineffective HP product.
