I recently bought two Super High Capacity "High Quality" li-ion 8800 MAH 12 cell batteries for my HP DV2000 laptop. They were supposed to be an improvement over the batteries my DV2000 came with originally. After I got around to trying them both out, I found that one of them did not hold a charge at all and the other one seems to hold a charge fairly well. I will attempt to return the one that doesn't work.
Delivery was very prompt and packaging was fine.

This product works great and for 1/2 the price! I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 and this battery will last about 7 hours when I select the "Balanced" option and when I want it for "High Performance" it will last about 4 hours. I'm very satisfied with it! Great purchase!

nothing more that worth ... the size is bigger than a original battery , 3 or 4 hours of on at my dv6500 .

I got my first laptop - an HP Pavilion dv6500t - about 3 years ago with a high capacity 12 cell battery, much like this one. Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago, and Windows 7 told me that my battery should be replaced, which I sort of already knew anyway since it would only last about an hour, sometimes less, when fully charged and my custom power-saving settings in place. So far, this new battery (which if I ordered it through HP would have cost me $150! Even though it was only $40 extra when I bought the laptop.) is great, I can now use my computer in my Java programming lecture and lab (which runs for ~2.5 hours) for the whole time and still have ~60% remaining by the time it's over if I start with a full charge and use my custom power settings. I'm willing to bet that even if I set the power options to the most power-hungry settings, I'd still have some power left over after that class. Excellent battery overall, if it goes bad before I need a new computer, then I'll definitely be coming back here to order one!
